variegated blue stone patio with 1/2 inch joint work with a  tight joint stack stone bench and BBQ, this was an existing patio that was extended .We then installed the bluestone over the entire patio.

Here is a before and after picture of a variegated bluestone patio and radius staircase.
We installed the rock  base and boulders and poured the concrete .
Bluestone was Purchased at Smith rock and was cut on site and  flamed  the edges ..
We then used a darker grout to help blend the grout lines in after curing.

Here is a front entry ( on left) that was installed  in a combination variegated blue stone and lavender stone that had been sealed with concrete sealer..the joint work was 2 to 3 inches and they used sand mix for mortar ,t he stack of rock was the water feature they had installed...we tore out the old and installed true bluestone with medium ironspot versatile .We then redesigned the  basalt stone water feature .
